Earlier this month, I had a blast from the past when I caught up with a teacher of mine from back in high school.
We decided to organise a family shoot at a waterhole near her house.
However, sometimes the weather has different priorities.
After messaging throughout the day, waiting for the relentless drizzle to ease, we finally decided to take a chance and went ahead with the shoot. We arranged to meet at her house, where, as the skies remained gloomy and grey, we thought it best not to test our luck.
Our backyard shoot began.

We were lucky enough that the rain stayed away!
By the end of the shoot, there was even spots of blue starting to poke through.
The boys even had a chance to play and climb.
By the end of the shoot we realised that, like many moments in life,
sometimes an unfortunate event is a blessings in disguise.
We may not have made it to the waterhole, but wow!
We definitely found some beautiful spots in their very own
backyard where we could capture this little
